Fifty Shades Freed - The Final Chapter

Hate to say goodbye to the final installment of E. L. James franchise of Fifty Shades. I felt discontented and thought of wanting more of the sought after pair of Christian and Anastasia. Dakota Johnson (Anastasya Steele) and  Jaime Dornan (Christian Grey) gave a stunning performance. Probably the most difficult portrayal and an unparalleled combination of cast and crew that gave a top notch interpretation of the novel. This will surely be a movie to be remembered in category with Ghost, Titanic and Twilight franchise. World wide premier showing garnered millions of dollar earnings. A message that definitely means viewers are seeking for a steamy and naughty movie with a good story.

The first 50 shades movie was so easy to smack around as it is based on a book with all the literary quality of a takeaway menu it was easily dismissed, but there was some wit to it as an adaptation. The sequel directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard is unlike the two earlier movie released. Fifty Shades Freed was not what we expected. Besides the couple being married a lot of people are dangerously obsessed with the pair. Jack Hyde one of Grey's antagonist portrayed by Eric Johnson is Anastasia's former boss at Seattle Independent Publishing (SIP), who was fired for attempting to sexually assault Ana. Gave the character vindication and a plot of spoiled jovial Grey family ending. With a sole intention of taking what he has been deprived of. Wicked intentions always never prevail as Jack turned out to be unsuccessful of his plans.

At some point I was amazed by the transition on how the charismatic brick wall Christian Grey character realized the value of his wife and the child Ana is bearing. Depicting not only sex, intimacy and suspense but an overview of how one should treasure and respect the woman you love. Responsibility is not a barrier to any relationship but a bond to grow and mature more. Anastasia Grey even at her naive and innocent character stood strong from the beginning to the end of the movie. The couple is just made for each other even with a few differences, if they can just find a way to fit each other a more stronger and long relationship awaits.

Philippine Ambassador Renato Villa of Kuwait declared persona non-grata?

t's been quite sometime already since I made my last blog, Thought of just shutting up and go on with my life after a surge of various fake news and blog spots. But it seems being out of the arena and not getting involved is just not my cup of tea.

Recently Kuwait made a serious move of removing Philippine Ambassador Renato Villa of Kuwait and declaring him persona non-grata after that viral rescue video of of distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Kuwait. You can click the link to see the viral video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9z8TEd4Hl8

Persona non-grata is a foreign person whose entering or remaining in a particular country is not anymore necessary or prohibited by the government. If you have seen the video I believe there is nothing wrong with what our embassy is doing. As a Filipino who gets to receive distress calls like that it is but our immediate concern to respond to the need as soon as possible.

I guess Kuwaiti government is just too sensitive to immediately react on the issue. When in fact we Filipinos should be in rage and extremely angry of what our country men are experiencing in Kuwait. Government data shows, over a hundred Filipino domestic workers have died in Kuwait due mostly to abuse and inhuman treatment of their employers. The recent brutal death of a Filipina OFW found inside the freezer at an abandoned apartment with internal bleeding, bruises and a broken hipbone triggered the Philippine government to totally ban the deployment of workers in their country.

Though I find uploading the viral video unnecessary it still does not justify Kuwaiti government reaction and the move to immediately deport the Philippine Ambassador. What is worst is that they have detained 4 of the Filipinos who helped in the rescue of the embassy to the OFWs and the warrant of arrest of the 3 diplomatic personnel of the Philippines.

I personally do not agree with the government apologizing to Kuwait. If there is someone who needs to apologize it is their government, after what they have done to our Filipino brothers and sisters abroad. If not with the governments effort to protect our OFWs these existing foreign violations wouldn't have been exposed and taken action. I have nothing against the Kuwaiti but I am more concern on these violations against our country men and that in the end they be given justice. If there is a need to totally ban the deployment of our workers just to give justice to them then lets do it. There are still a lot of countries that deserve more of our services. Money is never enough once our rights have been violated. If it requires Philippine government to junk that MOA between Kuwait then lets junk it for humanity and justice sake. Stop foreign abuses!!!

Leaked Debate Questions? How would the typist of the caption know Roxas answer?

The truth behind the leaked debate questions...

Filipino people are really into their presidential candidate that they would do anything just to destroy one's reputation and track record.  This does not spare former DILG Sec. Mar Roxas and its allies the PNoy administration. This is being irresponsible and destructive using social media to malign the  Filipino people on the real truth behind the issue.  In the recent viral video of The 3rd Pilipinas Debate last April 24, 2016 at the Presidential Town Hall in Pangasinan it questioned how the typists was able to anticipate what LP front runner candidate former DILG Sec. Mar Roxas said on the issue thrown to him by anchor Kristin Karen Davilla on contractualization.  I checked the actual video myself to prove the allegations and this is what I discover.  Please check link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=950g5hwtAv8. 1:06:07-1:06:29 min.  In the actual video former Sec. Mar Roxas in his answer to the question thrown by anchor Ms. Karen Davila "Pero kaya nyo bang lahat na banggain ang mga malalaking department store? Malalaking mall? He already uttered the phrase "Alam mo Karen sa kasaysayan ko binangga ko na ang malalaking interes pharmaceutical industry cheaper medicine law... " after 10 seconds the alleged caption came out.

We are all after for a change I understand that!  We have all the right to share our own point of views, opinions and observations I respect that but if one uses them to malign others and deny them of what really is the truth, to simply push the candidates one desires is another story.  Being responsible is not simply listening and agreeing on what you hear in social media, let us try to be responsible enough to check , investigate and support claims and allegations with concrete documents before we share erroneous information to others.

QC school's salutatorian speech interrupted

 QC School's Salutatorian Speech Interrupted

This is what happened in a school in QC where the salutatorian who made her speech for the 2015 commencement exercise was interrupted by its school administrator.  A privilege speech which is suppose to be delivered for her co-graduates but was merely interrupted by a disrespectful school administrator.  If the speech was long enough they could have properly asked the student to shorten it or at least give her notice for the remaining time.  But instead the school administrator simply grab the microphone and disrespectfully butt in.  A kind of attitude we would not have expected from a school teacher or non the less from a school administrator.  These are the type of teachers they have and school administrators needs to incorporate the word RESPECT in their subjects.  Simply these bunch of worthless, disrespectful ignorant school administrators find the speaker unimportant and useless.  It doesn't mean that the one making a speech is a mere student that they can simple afford to interrupt anytime they would want to.  If the speaker was a well known politician or an individual of higher ranking status non of these school administrators would have dared to end the speech.   These could have been prevented by either one of the personnel sitting in front but they were unanimous in trying to let her sit and stop.  Giving due respect whatever is the status of the individual is the most important lesson they should have taught to these graduates which these teachers haven't applied.

Magnitude 7.2 hit Cebu City

Oct. 15. 2013 Eid al adha of the Muslims declared a  regular holiday for the entire Philippines a magnitude of 7.2 richter scale earthquake shocked the entire Bohol and Cebu City as it was the first time ever of such magnitude. Shaking ground, falling debris, swaying buildings and panicking crowd was all what is seen.  Basilica del Santo NiƱo which houses the oldest relic of the Philippines and has been there for over decades was not ever spared.  Portion of the remaining old structure collapsed just right in front of the entrance gate.  Lucky for all the Cebuano's that it was on a Tuesday and a holiday because if it's not it would have been worst.  What people need to do at this point in time is to always be prepared.  Calamities may come anytime and in any way, non of us know when these things may happened.  Let us not point fingers on anyone this is not the right time but instead we try to stand up and help one another and rebuild what we have lost.  The Lord is still with us after most of the people have been spared and not too much damage.
