Fifty Shades Freed - The Final Chapter

Hate to say goodbye to the final installment of E. L. James franchise of Fifty Shades. I felt discontented and thought of wanting more of the sought after pair of Christian and Anastasia. Dakota Johnson (Anastasya Steele) and  Jaime Dornan (Christian Grey) gave a stunning performance. Probably the most difficult portrayal and an unparalleled combination of cast and crew that gave a top notch interpretation of the novel. This will surely be a movie to be remembered in category with Ghost, Titanic and Twilight franchise. World wide premier showing garnered millions of dollar earnings. A message that definitely means viewers are seeking for a steamy and naughty movie with a good story.

The first 50 shades movie was so easy to smack around as it is based on a book with all the literary quality of a takeaway menu it was easily dismissed, but there was some wit to it as an adaptation. The sequel directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard is unlike the two earlier movie released. Fifty Shades Freed was not what we expected. Besides the couple being married a lot of people are dangerously obsessed with the pair. Jack Hyde one of Grey's antagonist portrayed by Eric Johnson is Anastasia's former boss at Seattle Independent Publishing (SIP), who was fired for attempting to sexually assault Ana. Gave the character vindication and a plot of spoiled jovial Grey family ending. With a sole intention of taking what he has been deprived of. Wicked intentions always never prevail as Jack turned out to be unsuccessful of his plans.

At some point I was amazed by the transition on how the charismatic brick wall Christian Grey character realized the value of his wife and the child Ana is bearing. Depicting not only sex, intimacy and suspense but an overview of how one should treasure and respect the woman you love. Responsibility is not a barrier to any relationship but a bond to grow and mature more. Anastasia Grey even at her naive and innocent character stood strong from the beginning to the end of the movie. The couple is just made for each other even with a few differences, if they can just find a way to fit each other a more stronger and long relationship awaits.

Philippine Ambassador Renato Villa of Kuwait declared persona non-grata?

t's been quite sometime already since I made my last blog, Thought of just shutting up and go on with my life after a surge of various fake news and blog spots. But it seems being out of the arena and not getting involved is just not my cup of tea.

Recently Kuwait made a serious move of removing Philippine Ambassador Renato Villa of Kuwait and declaring him persona non-grata after that viral rescue video of of distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Kuwait. You can click the link to see the viral video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9z8TEd4Hl8

Persona non-grata is a foreign person whose entering or remaining in a particular country is not anymore necessary or prohibited by the government. If you have seen the video I believe there is nothing wrong with what our embassy is doing. As a Filipino who gets to receive distress calls like that it is but our immediate concern to respond to the need as soon as possible.

I guess Kuwaiti government is just too sensitive to immediately react on the issue. When in fact we Filipinos should be in rage and extremely angry of what our country men are experiencing in Kuwait. Government data shows, over a hundred Filipino domestic workers have died in Kuwait due mostly to abuse and inhuman treatment of their employers. The recent brutal death of a Filipina OFW found inside the freezer at an abandoned apartment with internal bleeding, bruises and a broken hipbone triggered the Philippine government to totally ban the deployment of workers in their country.

Though I find uploading the viral video unnecessary it still does not justify Kuwaiti government reaction and the move to immediately deport the Philippine Ambassador. What is worst is that they have detained 4 of the Filipinos who helped in the rescue of the embassy to the OFWs and the warrant of arrest of the 3 diplomatic personnel of the Philippines.

I personally do not agree with the government apologizing to Kuwait. If there is someone who needs to apologize it is their government, after what they have done to our Filipino brothers and sisters abroad. If not with the governments effort to protect our OFWs these existing foreign violations wouldn't have been exposed and taken action. I have nothing against the Kuwaiti but I am more concern on these violations against our country men and that in the end they be given justice. If there is a need to totally ban the deployment of our workers just to give justice to them then lets do it. There are still a lot of countries that deserve more of our services. Money is never enough once our rights have been violated. If it requires Philippine government to junk that MOA between Kuwait then lets junk it for humanity and justice sake. Stop foreign abuses!!!
