QC school's salutatorian speech interrupted

 QC School's Salutatorian Speech Interrupted

This is what happened in a school in QC where the salutatorian who made her speech for the 2015 commencement exercise was interrupted by its school administrator.  A privilege speech which is suppose to be delivered for her co-graduates but was merely interrupted by a disrespectful school administrator.  If the speech was long enough they could have properly asked the student to shorten it or at least give her notice for the remaining time.  But instead the school administrator simply grab the microphone and disrespectfully butt in.  A kind of attitude we would not have expected from a school teacher or non the less from a school administrator.  These are the type of teachers they have and school administrators needs to incorporate the word RESPECT in their subjects.  Simply these bunch of worthless, disrespectful ignorant school administrators find the speaker unimportant and useless.  It doesn't mean that the one making a speech is a mere student that they can simple afford to interrupt anytime they would want to.  If the speaker was a well known politician or an individual of higher ranking status non of these school administrators would have dared to end the speech.   These could have been prevented by either one of the personnel sitting in front but they were unanimous in trying to let her sit and stop.  Giving due respect whatever is the status of the individual is the most important lesson they should have taught to these graduates which these teachers haven't applied.

Magnitude 7.2 hit Cebu City

Oct. 15. 2013 Eid al adha of the Muslims declared a  regular holiday for the entire Philippines a magnitude of 7.2 richter scale earthquake shocked the entire Bohol and Cebu City as it was the first time ever of such magnitude. Shaking ground, falling debris, swaying buildings and panicking crowd was all what is seen.  Basilica del Santo NiƱo which houses the oldest relic of the Philippines and has been there for over decades was not ever spared.  Portion of the remaining old structure collapsed just right in front of the entrance gate.  Lucky for all the Cebuano's that it was on a Tuesday and a holiday because if it's not it would have been worst.  What people need to do at this point in time is to always be prepared.  Calamities may come anytime and in any way, non of us know when these things may happened.  Let us not point fingers on anyone this is not the right time but instead we try to stand up and help one another and rebuild what we have lost.  The Lord is still with us after most of the people have been spared and not too much damage.

A trip to Dalaguete and Alcoy

I recently had a chance to go on a vacation after long hours of work.  It was quite confusing where to start and which places to go?  It must be economical, enjoyable and worth it.  So I checked google for some beautiful spots where I can be interested but come to realize that I would only find it right here in Cebu.  So I decided to check and start at the Southern part of Cebu and these are the towns of Dalaguete and Alcoy. A 2 hrs. drive from the city to the destination thats 90.7 km.  In the small town of Dalaguete you can see how the residents manage to make their community clean and beautiful.  Locals  were able preserve some of the old houses, relics and books to trace up their history.  An old church stand erect at the coastal area of the town along side it's municipal plaza and nearby restaurants that you can dine in. Locals are very hospitable you can expect them to assist and accommodate you any time.  In the neighboring town of Alcoy it is more of an array of beaches and resorts along the road with very reasonable rates for you to choose from.  What is interesting in both these towns is that they have a very fine white sand a thing beach lovers and foreigners would really enjoy. If you want a more exclusive and expensive resort you can find a lot of them around too depending on your budget of choice. So why bother go somewhere else when you can try and explore how beautiful and lovely Cebu is.

Bohol Island A Place To Discover

I recently went to Bohol an island in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines and I never expected to see such a lovely scenery.  I thought after 5 years Bohol would still be the same but I guess I was wrong.  The island has completely developed since then, it has rising hotel resorts and restaurants not to mention the numerous foreign visitors that drive in scooters along the busy streets. This would probably be paradise to travelers. Merely an average of 70-80% tourists a year this has been the main source of it's local revenue. Prices seemed high because of the tourists but its worth the pay, with all the preserved historical houses, scenic spots and marvelous beaches to enjoy Bohol is a place to venture and explore on your next travels. I only had three days in the island and I haven't really had enough time to check most of the beautiful spots. But those three days of roaming and partying was just amazing, nothing can ever replace such experience. I often look forward to the fresh cool breeze of nature and the relaxing sound of the tropical island is enough to make my day. Planning to do more because of the thick and inhabited forest they have but time isn't just on my side. I might as well go camping and explore the mountains next time.  Anyway, if you have a limited budget... you can still enjoy the affordable econo-rooms and a motor bike to rent for a day tour.  So try to come and visit the island for a relaxing and affordable experience especially with the people you love. Enjoy!!!

San Jose scandal

Might be a trend today but everything will just pass by.  Remember the Katrina Halili and the Hayden Kho scandal, which turns the entertainment industry to an frenzy?  How is it now? Does anyone even bother to mock them?  Life goes on as they say.... people involved are moving on with their separate lives. Dr. Vicky Belo who is most affected one was able to forgive Hayden Kho.  Who else was into these sex video scandals? Hollywood actors and actress were not an exemption they also made a contribution which puts Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and many others into the lime light.  But they continue to carve their names in the industry. Leaving the scandalous nightmare behind.  What I am trying to say to the students involved in this scandal is to let it pass by.  Don't let these people around you judge who you are.  Mocking might be a part of the package but it doesn't describe the totality of your personality. It might be the headlines of today's discussion but soon it will fade out and non of them will ever remember any of you.  So don't make this a reason to destroy your FUTURE go ahead and move on.
